Superstar Rajinikanth  shooting for Kaala in Mumbai is expected to attend the event.

It has also been speculated that directors Anand L Rai Balki and other dignitaries may attend this function.

 Dhanush shares an excellent raport with these directors as he had featured in their films Raanjhanaa and Shamitabh.

 It can be recalled that the legendary AmitabhBachchan had launched the teaser of VIP 2 earlier in the month.

There is a lot of Bollywood connect to this film as Kajol features in an important role in this sequel and that’s the reason the film is dubbed and would be released in Hindi too.

VIP 2 directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth is produced by Dhanush for his Wunderbar Films and Thanu’s V Creations.

Sean Roldan has scored the music.
