Xiaomi has
launched a new Rose Gold edition of its entry-level smartphone, the
Redmi 5A. The Redmi 5A Rose Gold edition will go on sale today for the
first time via Flipkart
and mi.com for the same price of Rs 4,999. There is no change in the
specifications or the features of the Rose Gold variant. The smartphone
is also available in two other colors – Dark Grey and Gold.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes in two variants – one with 16GB storage and 2GB of RAM priced at Rs 5,999, and the other with 32GB storage and 3GB of RAM priced at Rs 6,999. However, under a special offer on Flipkart and mi.com, the lower variant of the smartphone – 16GB model – will be available with a Rs 1,000 discount, for Rs 4,999. Xiaomi has also partnered with retail chain Big Bazaar to expand its presence in the offline market in India.

Xiaomi’s online store at mi.com is also offering protection against accidental and liquid damage with Mi Protect for Rs 499. If you are a Reliance Jio customer, you get up to Rs 1,000 cash back after 13 consecutive successful recharges of Rs 198. The offer is valid only for existing Jio customers.
